Maggie Bodell-Stagg(Chair)                            

oined the Board in 2009

Margaret was an elected councillor in Leicester City until
2003 and is a former Deputy Leader of Leicester City Council.

She was the Lord Mayor of Leicester in 2002/3.
Margaret also has voluntary and professional experience of dealing with hostels and homelessness in organisations
such as the Salvation Army and Adullam Homes.

Derek Lambourne

Joined the Board in 2000

Derek is currently a Finance and Mortgage Broker. He has extensive experience in banking, building societies, accountancy and housing finance.

Mo Murray

Joined the Board in 2004

Mo was Director of Care & Repair (West Leicestershire) Limited for the last 19 years until her retirement in September 2007. She has been involved in Women’s Aid and in front-line housing and community development initiatives prior to taking over Care & Repair.

Richard Monk

Richard is a Managing Director at Whitefriars Housing Group, leading the teams responsible for housing operations and regeneration.  He has had a diverse career spanning private, public and not-for-profit sectors and has extensive experience in corporate organisational and cultural change programmes.

Alan Curtis

Alan is a retired local government officer and was previously Head of Housing Services at Mid Beds District Council. He has also worked in various positions at East Northants District Council, North East Derbyshire Council and Wellingborough Borough Council.

Chan is Chief Executive of East Midlands Housing Group and has held numerous positions at senior level in both housing association and local authority sectors since he joined the movement in 1985.

Sheila Chung

Postgraduate Diploma in Housing, MSc Housing

Joined the Board in 2008

Sheila is a Regional Policy and Practice Officer with the Chartered Institute of Housing.  She has also has previous experience of working with a local authority as a housing officer and development officer, so has experience of a wide range of housing issues.

Mohammed Saeed Jeewa

Sid is a freelance disability equality consultant and trainer and works within the commercial, public and voluntary sectors to bring together the ‘social model of disability’ and inclusion.  He has personal experience of disability and has worked in the equality field for the past 16 years.
