All tenants have the right to put in a simple application for funding to improve their neighbourhoods. Our Tenant led improvement scheme gives tenants an opportunity to apply for an environmental improvement to their scheme/estate/neighbourhood which will benefit the majority of tenants living there.
Examples include improved landscaping, parking barriers, seating areas, or crime reduction measures such as fencing, footpath diversions, lighting, or CCTV.
If you are a tenant and you think your neighbourhood could be improved, why not get together with your neighbours and see what you think could be done to make it better!
There are some notes that you might find helpful when completing your application and if you do get stuck your area housing team will be able to help, all you have to do is ask.
Your signed application needs to be returned by Thursday 31st January 2008 to the following address;
