Adaptations - Access Team
Service Description
EMH has an Access Team who process and arrange adaptations to residents' homes to allow them to continue to live comfortably in them. This include adaptations relating to access, bathing and generally moving around the home.

The Access team have set up a user group who give their views on the current level of service and how they would like to see it change:
Service User Group
The aim of the Service user group is not to discuss personal disability issues, but to look at how EMH can provide quality service to disabled people by working in alliance with the Access Team.
Mission Statement of the Access Team Service User Group
'The purpose of the Access Team Service User Group is to promote equality of opportunity between disabled people and others within the East Midlands Housing Group.
We aim to give a forum for discussion and sharing of personal experiences of disability through encouraging friendly debate.
We aim to support disabled people at their point of need whilst maintaining their confidentiality.
We want to support and influence change to provide a cohesive and efficient service to include everybody.'
